You will be the manager in a team responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of the plant. You will support delivery of overall objectives and ensure the integrity and timeliness of reporting. You will also have a direct report or manage third party providers resources.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Manage and execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis. You will own data collection and verify data integrity
- Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
- Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement including execution of key NPDs, product transitions and automation/ Capex. tracks
- As part of Plant Leadership Team, build budget and rolling forecast for conversion cost with high accuracy, build a strong productivity pipeline to deliver the target
- Continuous review of variances with Plan, recommending corrective action where appropriate and follow through
- Ensure accurate and timely production of financial analysis to provide clear insights in supporting the decision-making process undertaken by operations team
- Leading the monthly closing and reporting process for plant COGS (Actuals, Variance, COPA)
- Management and ensuring timely generation and submission of required reports for Marco Dashboards, BU COGS review
- Support on various statutory and internal audits, controls review including requirement on Fixed Assets and Stock Count Hygiene
- Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of team members to contribute to the talent pipeline
What you will bring

- TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and strategy development, investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets.
- BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and snacking market including Supply Chain/manufacturing dynamics. Relevant experience in a large regional (or global) corporation.
- LEADERSHIP SKILLS including proven business partnering, influencing and communication skills across a large regional or global, public company; experience working as a finance leader managing cross-functional and business partner teams to make decisions and drive results.
- GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and ability to identify opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.

Job specific requirements:
- Degree in Accounting and Finance or Professionally qualified (eg: ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
- Minimum 7 years of accounting and analyst experience
- Must willing to be based in Shah Alam Plant
- SAP experience (modules: PP/Costing, COPA and FI)
- Excel (eg: formulas like lookups, sumif, average, min, max, concatenate; pivot tables; charts)
- Sound grasp of accounting principles and standards
- Experience in performing closing activities, analysis and business partnering
- Learns fast, independent, resourceful, proactive, analytical, adaptable, commercially savvy, attention to detail and drive
- Able to work with cross functional colleagues (Accounting and External Reporting team, Regional FP&A teams, outsourcing partners, commercial colleagues) whether face to face or virtually via Microsoft Teams, in and out of Malaysia
- Finance experience in manufacturing and Sales and Service Tax (SST) is an advantage
