The role

The Resourcing Advisor is responsible for producing accurate and optimal rosters for Crown team members in the roster window. They are responsible for managing the forward planning process to minimise late shift and roster changes that inflate operational costs.

The Resourcing Advisor will utilise the forecast provided by the Resourcing Manager in partnership with the Finance Business Partner, to ensure that labour supply meets operational labour demand in each roster.

We have both permanent and 12 month fixed term positions available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Draft, consult on, produce, update and publish rosters to meet specified departmental requirements.

  • Receive leave requests within planning window, ensure coverage as required and update rosters accordingly.

  • Roster foreign national team members within their Visa’s working restrictions, in line with supporting documentation.

  • Process all forms received from team members relating to management of their roster – shift swaps, leave applications, roster request etc. within the planning window.

  • Create and maintain employee profiles, roles and locations within the Virtual Roster system.

  • Maintain accurate pay cycle information.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations to department managers to ensure optimal rosters and best-practice processes.

About you 

  • Solid experience working within a Workforce Planning or Rostering environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills 

  • Resourceful with excellent organisational skills, including the ability to identify priorities and meet conflicting deadlines.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and in a compelling manner with senior leaders across the Crown business.

  • Proficient in the use of Virtual Roster or similar rostering system.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
