The Resource Management Strategic Business Analyst Supervisor is responsible for developing a deep understanding of the firm’s enterprise resource management strategy and translating business vision, goals, and needs into effective analytical and operational solutions.

This role leads analytical delivery, reporting strategy, and solution enablement across the Enterprise Resource Management Office (ERMO), converting business strategy into actionable insights while ensuring high quality execution through a global team, including offshore resources.

This role requires close collaboration with team members located offshore and across multiple time zones, ensuring consistent delivery standards, clear communication, and timely execution of resource management support services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Strategic Analytics, Reporting & Business Enablement
  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of enterprise resource management reporting and analytics supporting utilization, capacity, and resourcing decisions
  • Translate business needs into analytical solutions, dashboards, and insights aligned to ERMO and Dayshape program objectives
  • Identify trends, risks, and resourcing gaps and convert analysis into actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise resource management data, reporting standards, and analytical best practices. 
  • Act as an escalation point for complex analytical or data related issues tied to Dayshape operations

Governance, Data Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and analytical processes
  • Establish governance standards for metrics definitions, reporting consistency, and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI enabled analysis, and improved tooling within resource management
  • Support responsible and effective AI adoption aligned to firm standards
Training, Enablement & Stakeholder Communication
  • Lead training for analysts, business users, and stakeholders on reporting, insights, and analytical tools
  • Communicate findings clearly to peers, leaders, and cross functional partners
  • Contribute to knowledge management, documentation, and standard operating procedures

Product Enhancement Leadership & Release Enablement

  • Lead the analysis and delivery of new product enhancement releases by partnering with Product owner, technical teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into well defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive the end to end requirements lifecycle for enhancements, including backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and release planning, ensuring alignment to product roadmap and operational priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with QA teams to support test strategy development, validate acceptance criteria, and ensure enhancements meet quality, usability, and business requirements prior to release.
  • Partner with Delivery Services leadership to validate operational feasibility, change impact, and execution readiness of reporting solutions, enhancements, and Dayshape configuration changes prior to release ensuring successful adoption of functionality.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business, product, QA, and training teams to ensure enhancements are delivered with clarity, quality, and operational readiness.

Dayshape Platform Support:

  • Provide resolution support for service tickets as directed by Product Lead
  • Partner closely with the Dayshape Solution Support team through mentorship and coordination of ticket resolution support.
  • Provide guidance on reporting impacts of Dayshape configuration changes, enhancements, and integrations

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead and oversee an enterprise team providing coaching, prioritization guidance, and performance management.
  • Establish consistent analytical, documentation, and quality standards across the team
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement oriented team culture

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

Required qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel based analysis, modeling, and visualization
  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to translate complex data into business ready insights
  • Experience with reporting governance, data quality management, and process optimization
  • Strong working knowledge of AI enabled analytics and prompt engineering concepts
  • Ability to effectively interact with people on an individual or team basis
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including email and technical writing
  • Genuine interest and strong aptitude for use of technology
  • Great attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to assist people with resolutions, especially when timelines are short

EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business analysis, resource management, or enterprise reporting
  • Prior experience in a professional services or resource managed environment preferred
  • Experience working with or leading teams that include offshore or globally distributed resources.
  • Experience supporting or partnering with enterprise platforms such as Dayshape or Workday preferred

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop analytical talent
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coordinating, and prioritizing work across global and offshore teams and time zones, including coverage planning, workload balancing, and proactive communication to support continuous delivery and business needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting to senior leadership
  • Ability to prioritize work across multiple initiatives and balance strategic and tactical demands
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $163,900

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
