Resource Management Data & Insights Analyst

Scope  

Resource Management Data and Insights Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting data to support effective resource management and decision-making. This position requires a detail-oriented analyst with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data analytics, capacity modeling, and statistical analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing metrics, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize resource allocation, enhance operational efficiency, and support leadership with data-driven perspectives.  

What you will do  

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to resource management, including workforce utilization, capacity planning, and project performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into key resource management metrics.

Insights Generation:

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in resource data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate data findings into strategic initiatives.

Performance Metrics and Statistical Analysis:

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of resource management strategies.
• Conduct statistical analysis and performance simulations to model capacity and predict future resource needs.
• Regularly report on performance metrics to senior leadership, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

Process Improvement:

• Partner with Transformation lead to analyze current resource management processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with resource managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for data-driven decision-making.
• Provide training and support to teams on the use of resource management tools and analytics.

Data Integrity and Quality:

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of resource management data by implementing data validation and quality control measures.
• Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to support reliable and timely insights.

Leadership Support:

• Generate a data-driven point of view for leadership consumption, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
• Present complex data findings and capacity models to leadership in a clear and actionable manner.

What we are looking for:  

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, resource management, or a related field.
• Strong programming knowledge on Python/R.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience in capacity modeling and statistical analysis for performance simulation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to diverse audiences.
• Experience with resource management software and tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
