In this position, you’ll help support efforts to evaluate and enhance modeling approaches that better capture reliability risks and assess the capacity value of both existing and emerging resources. You’ll perform and analyze LOLE studies, help refine QA/QC practices, and contribute to improvements that increase confidence in modeling outcomes. Your work will help inform ongoing accreditation efforts, policy discussions, and system enhancements.

You’ll also develop your technical perspective to interpret planning data across MISO and the broader industry, identifying trends and potential challenges. Along the way, you’ll also learn and receive support from your teammates—while collaborating across teams to continuously improve Resource Adequacy processes.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $87,000-$112,000 USD annually.  Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience. 

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.  At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
