JPMC resiliency teams take on the world's biggest resiliency challenges: building solutions and partnerships that protect millions of people every day. Within the Firmwide Resiliency Office (FRO) you will be part of a diverse and progressive organization that has talent in depth and is tackling some of the biggest challenges facing the financial services industry. Increased Regulatory interest, alongside real-world events (e.g., global COVID-19 pandemic, conflict in Ukraine), perceived emerging threats (e.g., climate change, fuel supply stability), and ever evolving complexity in our operating environments mean that resilience is increasingly important for clients and customers. We design the Firm's Resilience framework and assess and report on risks associated with resiliency, responsive to the requirements and expectations of the Firm's regulatory authorities globally and through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the Firm.
As a Vice President in the FRO Reporting & Analytics Team, you will support implementation of key reporting initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to design and implement new and enhanced reporting, whilst sourcing and producing impactful executive commentary. You will gain broad exposure across business operations, corporate functions and Legal Entities, enabling you to develop and grow while building and strengthening your network. This role is ideal for strong communicators and problem solvers with an understanding of data visualization and tooling: you will be an agile self-starter who enjoys challenges, drives collaboration and communication, and takes the initiative to get things done. You will be passionate about leveraging data analytics and visualization to drive risk and performance based reporting and commentary, which offers you the chance to shape strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our Resiliency Program, ensuring alignment with the firm's risk-taking activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end metrics reporting and commentary for various governance forums.
- Design and implement new reporting, partnering with stakeholders to expand scope of our reporting across various Asset Domains (for example, Technology, 3 rd Party Engagements), and in support of firm, Line of Business, Corporate Function and Location/Legal Entity specific requirements
- Work with the development team to implement business intelligence solutions to automate reporting and integrate reporting into online data stores and create data visualization and analytics.
- Work with LOBs and Corporate Functions to design and implement new reporting requirements or data analytics
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of the FRO reporting process
- Act as a strong innovator, always challenging processes and seeking efficiencies.
- Provide input and participate in various working groups to ensure appropriate capture of data, enhance data aggregation processes and reporting & control procedures.
- Build subject matter expertise in Firmwide Resiliency processes and practices.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with large amounts of data
- A self-starter who is organized and consistently meets deliverables
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, lead initiatives and bring tasks to complete closure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience interacting with a global team
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Knowledge of Tableau, Python and Alteryx is advantageous
