Ecoterres is part of the DEME group and specialises in the treatment and recycling of mineral and organic materials. In order to support our teams in circularity projects for high added value materials, we are currently looking for a Research and Development Engineer. The successful candidate will be involved in ongoing projects focusing on the recycling and recovery of materials managed and produced at our authorised processing centres.Your responsibilities
- Design research programmes
- Carrying out laboratory tests, monitoring pilot-scale tests and deploying the solutions developed on a large scale
- Implementing and monitoring laboratory test protocols to ensure quality control of recycled materials
- Working with a team of internal and external experts.
- Create partnerships with research centres and universities
- Carry out research and development activities relating to agronomy and soil fertility.
- Present research results to stakeholders and team members.
- Participate in project planning and implementation.
Your profile
- Master's degree in Bioengineering, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Ability to develop scientific research programmes with autonomy and rigour.
- Excellent communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to change in a fast-moving environment.
- 3 to 5 years' professional experience would be an advantage.

- Strong interest in sustainable solutions and circularity of materials.
- Innovative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
- Agility of scale between laboratory research and industrial implementation.
