Job Description Summary

Join Cushman & Wakefield’s Australian Research team and play a pivotal role in delivering best-in-class market insights. As a Research Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analysing commercial property data, ensuring real-time business intelligence through Power BI dashboards and advanced data management techniques. This role is ideal for analytical thinkers who thrive in dynamic, data-driven environments and enjoy collaborating across teams to develop actionable insights.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance real estate market databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

  • Develop and manage Power BI dashboards, creating meaningful visualisations for operational and strategic decisions.

  • Integrate, organize, and analyse data from internal systems and external sources.

  • Support quarterly market reporting, ensuring timely and data-backed analysis.

  • Collaborate across business and tech teams to drive automation and efficiency in data workflows.

  • Assist in the creation of thought leadership publications, presentations, and insights for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Cushman & Wakefield’s Asia Pacific research team, contributing to regional and global research initiatives.

  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests, delivering compelling insights and solutions.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within real estate or property sectors.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, with a demonstrated ability to create impactful dashboards and reports.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings.

  • Experience managing data assets, warehouses, and integration pipelines.

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a dynamic team.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills; GIS knowledge is a plus.
