Summary of Job Duties:The Institutional Research Analyst (IRA) is a member of the Department of Institutional Research, Policy, and Accreditation (IRPA) and supports reporting needs for the university. The IRA provides data and analysis to internal and external stakeholders including accreditors, the Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE), and the U.S. Department of Education (DOE).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in higher education administration, institutional research, auditing and monitoring, enrollment services, or student records or
- Master’s degree plus one (1) year of experience in higher education administration, institutional research, auditing and monitoring, enrollment services, or student records required.
Two (2) years of experience with a student information system, such as PeopleSoft, Banner or Workday.
Experience with data reporting and/or visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft BI. Experience with SAS, SQL, Microsoft Access, or other query tools
Responsibilities:
Plans for and helps manage the production of mandatory institutional reports, including the Arkansas Division of Higher Education and Department of Education
Provides data for the University’s response to the Higher Learning Commission’s annual update.
Creates enrollment, graduation, and other institutional reports for various university departments and colleges.
Responds to external surveys from federal, state and professional sources.
Other duties as assigned.
