The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at Carnegie Mellon University is looking for a Research Associate to Assists in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify problems and obstacles to progress; develop strategies to solve problems.
- Program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
- Perform research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Research and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Summarize statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; write technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
- Use a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support study needs and animal welfare.
