Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of work:

The student will support a research project examining the design of green procurement policies across Canada and their effects on firm-level innovation outcomes. The student will perform the following tasks: • Data collection, entry, and cleaning. • Producing descriptive graphs and figures. • Assisting with regression analysis. • Organizing and verifying program code and raw data files. Assisting with the preparation of replication packages. • Assisting with formatting and copy-editing research manuscripts.

Qualifications:

Prior graduate-level training in natural resources management, environmental policy, environmental governance, or environmental economics. • Strong quantitative research skills, including fluency in R and/or Stata programming language. Working knowledge of Excel and of SQL is an asset. • Interest in learning and applying computational approaches for policy text analysis. • Interest in learning about the field of policy process/policy design. • Interest in learning about the field of green innovation policy.
