**This position is an in-office role based out of our Sacramento, CA Office**
About you
You are a curious person with a keen eye for detail. You are always learning, asking questions, and want to know the most up-to-date information. You are tech savvy and always trying to find more efficient ways to complete a process or identify a new tech tool to make things simpler. You thrive on managing multiple priorities and are comfortable with shifting priorities throughout the day. You possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and have the ability to build strong professional relationships with others.
In this role, you will…
- Compile and write industry, specialty and quarterly reports using industry experience to synthesize insightful analysis
- Track market activity using internal and external resources, providing company and industry research using online and in-house resources
- Assist advisors by providing research representation and expertise in client meetings
- Train advisors and staff in use of research applications such as Costar, Real Capital Analytics, and proprietary database tools
- Provide database management, including verification and updates on inventory, availability and comparables
- Perform ad hoc queries, including property and deal analysis
What you’ll bring
- 0-1+ years of experience in commercial real estate, market analysis or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field)
- Ability to calculate and analyze key metrics and indicators (vacancy, absorption, inventory, deliveries, cap rates, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and database software
- Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database (Costar, LoopNet)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work independently or as part of a team

Approximate Compensation for this Role: $29.71 per hour
Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
