JOB DESCRIPTION: Research Analyst

FactSet ETF data feeds provide complete and accurate security, fund, and reference data across the universe of exchange-traded products. Data is sourced from ETF providers across the globe and includes more than 100 unique data points, resulting in comprehensive coverage to help you evaluate and construct ETFs, analyze potential trades, and perform fund research. Data Frequency: Daily; Update Frequency: Intraday.
As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collating, maintaining, and updating relevant fields in the database with accurate information in accordance with the defined work process. You will be analyzing these content sets by reviewing official updates from our trusted sources that can be in the form of feeds, corporate action mails, press releases, and other reports; thereby making it available to FactSet clients in real-time and in top quality. You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team’s business goals by meeting your individual targets. As an individual contributor, you shall be responsible for your own performance in all assigned tasks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, analyze, and process financial market data from various data sources and into the database utilized by the team. Ensure the integrity of the company's financial market information. Complete, timely and accurate database Accurate and reliable data for the client
- Audit Resolutions/fix and recommendations for market specific guidelines. Audit resolution sign off. Creation and refinement of market specific guides. Accurate and reliable data for the client
- Provide accurate and reliable demographic and statistical financial market data to internal database and to internal/external clientele; Focus on ensuring the integrity of the company's financial market information; Fulfill the research/analytical/ market study needs, required/ requested by the external clients in order to procure and retain future and current business; Support clients on data queries; The job also involves reporting & maintaining records of work done
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce / Business Management/ Finance/Accounting /Economics or equivalent Be able to effectively understand the content/market (s) handled
- Computer Literacy Effectively use the database and software for collection and processing of content/data
- Numerical skills to ensure understanding of the financial data to be collected and/or processed
- Analytical skills and detail orientation to ensure accuracy of data
- Knowledge of financial markets and accountancy (as needed) To ensure effective understanding of assigned content/market
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in country coverage based on the needs of the department
- Enthusiastic, a strong sense of initiative
- Good knowledge of Excel. Must be able to manipulate large spreadsheets
- Strong command and understanding of modules and rules
