SCHEDULE
Full Time
To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
- Prepare Collection department letters and mail out letters daily.
- Sort and deliver Collection department interoffice mail to team members.
- Handle all refunds from dealers on GAP, Service Contracts on repossessed units.
- Assign accounts to third party collection agencies.
- Prepare documents for third party legal action.
- Post all department check payments.
- Report accounts to ChexSystems and provide assistance to branches and departments
- Pay all department invoices
- Order supplies
- Be cross-trained in all other Administrative Assistant positions for back up.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Exemplify your role as a team member to promote and maintain effective partnerships with your team and Credit Union members.
- Incorporate MACU values and philosophy while fulfilling your responsibilities as a representative of the Collection department and the Credit Union.

Ability to use computers and Microsoft software and E-mail software.

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibility

Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form. Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.

Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and have strong follow-up skills.

Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms consistently. Ability to stand, walk, kneel and crouch occasionally
