Job Summary

The Reporting & Consolidation Manager is a key role within the finance organization. This role will help drive the timely and accurate filings of all the of the Company’s SEC documents and oversee the Company’s global consolidation process. This role requires a passion for excellence, an understanding of SEC regulations, a solid foundation in global consolidations, strong attention to detail and a keen focus on continuous process improvement. This role partners closely with the FP&A, legal, treasury, investor relations, general ledger teams, external auditors as well as a broader group of global business teams in order to provide guidance on reporting and consolidation topics and transactions.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the SEC reporting processes and initiatives including but not limited to preparing Form(s) 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, 8-K, 11-K, S-8, SD, Schedule 13-G, and Section 16 Form(s) 3, 4, 5);

  • Prepare and review iXBRL tagging;

  • Manage the preparation and review of the quarterly financial statements, including all statements and footnotes;

  • Maintain the quarterly and annual reporting calendars and progress towards reporting milestones;

  • Coordinate and drive the internal and external stakeholder review of the SEC reporting deliverables, including gathering supporting documents and responding to comments and questions;

  • Research and ensure the proper disclosure of new accounting pronouncements from FASB and SEC into public filings;

  • Assist with the preparation of technical accounting research and technical accounting memo for transactions, new accounting standards and internal policy memos;

  • Engage in communications with external auditors on financial statements and technical accounting transactions to ensure auditor alignment with company decisions on disclosures and reporting issues;

  • Assist with monthly accounting close duties and other ad-hoc responsibilities.


Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • CPA, or equivalent qualification;

  • At least 6 years of technical accounting and reporting experience with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility;

  • Experience in preparing and filing SEC reports including, but not limited to Form(s): 10-K, 10-Q, 11-K, 8-K, and Section 16 filings;

  • Working knowledge of Workiva, and iXBRL tagging within Workiva; 

  • Technical understanding of SEC reporting requirements;

  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP;

  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work hands-on;

  • Excellent analytical skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication;

  • Pro-active, self-starter and can work independently with minimal supervision;

  • Teamwork is essential to the success of the group, so it is critical that the candidate interact with other team members and managers collaboratively and effectively;

  • Demonstrated professional commitment, initiative, accountability and ownership of assignments;

  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with senior management and various levels of finance staff;

  • Advanced MS Word and Excel skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Big 4 accounting firm background;

  • Advanced proficiency with Workiva and hands on experience in iXBRL tagging;

  • Demonstrated professional commitment, initiative, accountability and ownership of assignments;

  • Driven to add value and continuously seek opportunities for improvement both individually and as a team; and

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adept at handling change.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related major is required.  
  • Advanced degree in related field is preferred.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $160,000 plus benefits.  Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. 

This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.

Physical requirements/Work Environment 

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking.  Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.  May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.  Some travel (10%) is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
