Salary Base salary: c£ £32,050 pa to £37,700 pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer flexible benefits fund of 15% which is paid on top base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits - check them out in the Benefits section on our website.

As a Reporting and Analysis Advisor at HS2 you will be responsible for supporting the development, automation, delivery and integration of programme and corporate reporting to enable effective, data driven decision making across the programme. This is a permanent role. HS2 Ltd do not hold a sponsorship license from the Home Office, we are not able to provide sponsorship to any applicant.

About the role:

  • To be accountable for supporting the development and analysis of programme reporting and data, identifying key trends, issues, insights, and common themes.
  • To be accountable for supporting the aggregation of programme reporting and data to develop a comprehensive view of performance against baseline and forecast (incl. Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis) across Phase One, Phase Two, Corporate functions (Infrastructure Directorate, Land & Property).
  • To be accountable for supporting the definition and formatting standards for key reporting, the assurance of quality and integrity of all Programme and Functional reports as they are submitted to ensure there is a consistent approach to data capture and analysis.
  • To be responsible for ensuring the Projects and Programmes provide necessary information per the required timeframes to enable effective decision making.
  • To be responsible for ensuring a robust reporting process is deployed consistently and complied with across the organisation.
  • To be accountable for supporting the alignment of reports with the evolving client and business needs, proposing changes to the development and delivery areas as required and developing innovative solutions to automate and simplify reporting.
  • To have responsibility for supporting the production of project programme level periodic reporting.

About You:

Skills:

  • Ability to facilitate the integration of project scope and time and cost objectives and establishing a baseline plan for performance measurement through reporting.
  • Ability to analyse and report on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ability to use IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet, MS Access, etc.).
  • Ability to produce clear communications which engage colleagues.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of trends and insight reporting in large infrastructure projects / programmes.

Types of Experience

  • Experience in reporting and analysis across large complex programmes.
