Report Development Manager, VP

Who we are looking for

State Street’s Client Reporting Team offers a full suite of reporting services required by the most sophisticated Investment Managers. We gather data from multiple sources internally and externally from - IBOR, ABOR, performance, market data vendors and client supplied data and runs through a robust workflow to produce end client reports. We are a self-service report building team who has taken the initiative to build a team to meet the most complex reporting requirements for the entire bank.

As part of Client Reporting Team, the Vice President will be responsible for the end to end delivery ,of all the Client Reporting Projects. He/She will play as an SME and stakeholder who will collaborate with the global stake holders to ensure the timely delivery of the projects.

What you will be responsible for

As End Client Reporting Vice President

• Individual in this role will design, develop and support dashboards and reporting for State Street Investment Management Services.
• Expertise in analysis, design and implementation of reporting and visualization ( Dashboards) using BI suits like Jasper, Webfocus, Actuate, eSpreadsheet, etc
• Experience in working with large scale data warehouse solutions , data modeling and designing data marts
• Experience in data governess models and data quality implementation techniques
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in query performance optimization
• Interface with data experts, data sourcing resources and assist in the data validation process and Write queries
• Experience working with complex data sets and implementing complex business logics to provide intelligence reporting solutions, perform data gap analysis on complex financial data
• Requires intimate knowledge of Interactive Report Designer (IRD) and IBI WebFocus
• Serve as primary subject matter expert across the organization and assist users with adhoc dashboard/report construction queries and researching issues on existing data, query tools, and reports
• Knowledge in Big data platforms and cloud technologies
• Experience with Enterprise Servicing Platform (ESP), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and ETL data extraction and MYSS
• Employ analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to improve performance
• Maintain effective working relationships with organizational team and clients
• Able to program in Flash and HTML5 to create and maintain existing dashboards
• Ability to design dashboards and cross connect different components
• Develop and execute database queries and perform analyses

What we value

• Experience with State Street IRD reporting Platform
• Extensive knowledge in BI Reporting Suits and experience in delivering client reporting projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Front/Middle/Back office functions of a Trade Life Cycle
• Extensive knowledge of Data Analysis, Data Warehousing platforms and Data Governance concepts
• Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake and Talend will be added advantage
• Strong written, verbal communication and time management skills
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues by working with other areas within Alpha Data Interfaces

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ Years of experience in Front/Middle/Back office functions in Capital Markets industry
• 15+ Years of experience on Data Platforms and BI Reporting tools
• Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, work independently while maintaining attention to detail and meet deadlines in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment
• Experience in preparing presentations for stakeholders
• Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, innovative, and a self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative
• Strong collaboration skills, working with business, Development, Testing partners
