About the role

Are you organised, hands-on, and technically minded? Since one of our finest has decided to retire, AGL Macquarie is looking for a Repairable Spares Coordinator to take ownership of AGLM’s critical repairable spares program — a unique and vital role within our site-based Reliability and Business Process team.

As the only person in this specialist role onsite, you’ll be the go-to expert for everything repairable – from process governance and vendor engagement, quality control, scheduling, and inventory alignment. This is an opportunity to combine your trade background or maintenance experience with strong planning, SAP, and coordination skills, in a high-trust, autonomous role that directly impacts operational performance.

Location: AGLM Bayswater Power Station, Muswellbrook, NSW

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the full lifecycle of repairable spares, ensuring compliance with AGL standards, statutory requirements, and quality frameworks

• Oversee repair schedules, vendor performance, and overhaul standards – both onsite and offsite

• Liaise across the business – coordinating with warehouse, maintenance, outage teams, break-in team, and vendors to align repairs with operational needs

• Control the process with precision – from initiating contracts and getting quotes, to managing purchase orders, requisitions, and master data in SAP

• Own and evolve the repairable spares process – document, improve and embed standards to ensure thoroughness, speed, and accountability

What you’ll bring:

• Trade qualification or relevant industry experience in maintenance, planning, or technical roles

• Strong understanding of operational components and repair processes

• Experience working with SAP and solid Microsoft Office skills

• Confident in liaising with vendors and internal teams – you’re a great communicator

• Ability to manage your time, keep schedules tight, and turn things around efficiently

• Detail-oriented, accountable, and driven to keep processes tight and reliable

• Technically astute – you can understand the language and requirements when talking with vendors about component repairs

• Proactive and self-reliant – you’ll be trusted to run this space end-to-end
