Main Ingredients of the Job:

As a US FOODS® REPACKER you will be responsible for... 

  • Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization 

  • Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump) Repack damaged product determined to be saleable. 

  • Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.  

  • Properly record all dumped product.  

  • Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.  

  • Keep work area clean and organized.  

  • Other duties as assigned. 

  

 Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm w/ occasional Saturdays as needed Starting Payrate: $ 19.07

What you bring to the table  

Education/Training:  

  • High School Diploma/ required  

  

Related Experience/Requirements:    

  • Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred. 

  • Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment 

  • Able to stand for long periods. 

  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. 

  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:   

  • Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  

  • Ability to work independently.  

  • Safely operate the electric pallet jack.  

  • Good communication skills – written and oral.  

  • Working knowledge of Excel.  

  • Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. 

  • Must be dependable.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $19.07 and $24

As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, and freezer premium.
