Job Description
As our team at Ignitis Renewables Latvia continues to grow, we are constantly seeking new colleagues to join us – we have many projects in the pipeline, and we need more Project Managers to lead it! We invite individuals to join us and play a vital role in project development throughout all stages of implementation in Latvia. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Dream Big: seek for opportunities to start new renewable energy (onshore wind, BESS and/or utility-scale solar PV) projects from greenfield, and evaluate potential renewable energy opportunities
- Orchestrate the processes: co-ordinate the processes of project feasibility, associated land lease negotiations & agreements, EIA development, community engagement, FID process and oversee the growth of the project from conception to pre-construction steps
- Plan and control project management triangle (scope, cost, time); distribute work assignments; initiate and manage procurement processes
- Build Bridges: cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, public institutions, consultants and local communities to ensure smooth sailing from concept to completion
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: keep your finger on the pulse of the renewable energy industry, staying up-to-date on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations
- Make a Difference: play a pivotal role in shaping the future of clean energy, leaving a lasting legacy of sustainability and innovation.
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in the Management, Law, Economics, Construction, Engineering or Energy field
- Possess project management experience within renewable energy projects, real estate or other major infrastructure projects, as well as being able to manage development partners
- Have general understanding of financial modeling
- Have experience in wind and/or solar PV projects development and/or construction (advantage), along with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Can work effectively to meet critical deadlines
- Are analytical, well-structured, result oriented, proactive person with flexibility and ability to adapt quickly as well as work in corporate culture
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Latvian.
