Lead and optimize end-to-end commercial performance across all assigned product categories by driving category strategy, sourcing, supplier management, pricing, assortment, and promotional execution to maximize sales growth, profitability, cost efficiency, and service level across the supply chain and multi-channel customer base in China.
· Multi-Category Strategy & Planning.
· Develop and execute integrated commercial strategies across all assigned product categories based on market trends, customer insights, and business priorities.
· Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management.
· Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management across multi-category supplier portfolio.
· Commercial Performance Management
Monitor sales, margin, and budget performance (daily / MTD / YTD) across categories, customers, and channels; implement corrective actions.
· Pricing & Cost Optimization
Define pricing strategies, manage price architecture, and drive cost reduction initiatives to ensure competitive market positioning and margin achievement.
· Assortment & Category Optimization
Manage assortment planning, SKU rationalization, product lifecycle management, and category performance optimization.
· Promotion & Trade Plan Execution
Design and evaluate promotional strategies across categories to drive sales growth and improve ROI effectiveness.
· Availability Management
Ensure product availability, supplier capacity alignment, and supply continuity across distribution centers and stores.
· Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development
Lead cross-functional collaboration (supply chain, marketing, operations) and develop buying team capability to ensure execution excellence.
Requirements
· Master or Bachelor in Business Administration, Science, Marketing or a technical / any related filed. MBA preferred.
· 10+ years professional experience in retail food service management, retail operations, and/or consumer product goods, preferred.
· 5 - 7 years strategic sourcing experience preferred.
· Department level supervisory/managerial experience of direct and indirect reports
·Experience in regional / China market operations is a strong advantage.
· Strong English communication; Mandarin is an advantage.
· Demonstrated understanding food safety principles and operational requirements
·Retail or FMCG business, Wholesales industry knowledge and experience.
· Demonstrated ability to develop market expertise and credibility in the Retail industry and/or consumer product segment, including customers, suppliers, products, applications, technology, pricing, value; industry or market problems and opportunities.
· Ability to negotiate and defend pricing, contracts, and agreements with suppliers and customers.
· Demonstrated people/team leadership experience with proven ability to motivate, engage, and develop a high performing team.

Skills Required
