About the Role
As a Remote Reliability Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for technical queries during the maintenance phase of KONE and non-KONE equipment. You'll work closely with maintenance technicians to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions that keep our customers' equipment operating safely and reliably.

What You'll Be Doing
Provide remote technical support to maintenance technicians, helping identify root causes and corrective actions for equipment issues.
Assist with spare parts identification and technical recommendations.
Support KONE's connected services and analytics by evaluating non-standard service needs.
Collaborate with support teams to configure and troubleshoot KRM devices and connections.
Escalate complex cases to subject matter experts when required.
Develop knowledge base articles and technical documentation that support continuous learning.
Contribute to equipment reliability, safety and performance improvement initiatives.
Prepare quality reports, identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
You will bring:
5 years experience overall within technical industries
Elevators/ escalators experience is a must
Experience as a Technician preferred
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting capability.
Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
Flexibility and willingness to travel when required (only once every few months)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and quality focus
