Our Reliability Lab Engineer is embedded in the local laboratory environment, executing qualification and reliability test requests while developing technical expertise in reliability testing methods, equipment, standards, and failure mechanisms. The role combines extensive hands-on testing activities with increasing technical responsibility for troubleshooting, data review, standards understanding, and execution of complex test requests. The role operates within the Reliability Testing Chapter and collaborates closely with the local laboratory organization and relevant cross-functional stakeholders.
About the Position:Execute complete qualification and reliability test requests independently
Prepare, set up, start, monitor, and complete complex reliability tests
Perform advanced measurements and data collection activities
Plan resources, schedules, equipment allocation, and execution activities for assigned test requests
Review test requirements and ensure proper execution
Create, modify, and maintain measurement programs
Review and approve measurement programs created by technicians
Support troubleshooting of test setups, equipment, and execution-related issues
Develop understanding of reliability standards, qualification requirements, and stress methods
Develop understanding of reliability-related failure mechanisms
Participate in investigations related to test deviations and abnormal behavior
Support technical discussions with requestors and laboratory stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory execution practices
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or comparable
1–3+ years of experience in reliability testing, semiconductor testing, quality, manufacturing engineering, or laboratory operations preferred
Understanding of reliability testing principles and qualification methodologies
Understanding of laboratory measurement systems and execution practices
Willingness to develop expertise in reliability standards and failure mechanisms
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Good English skills
