Engineer- Reliability/Maintenance T2-I
Albany, Georgia
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing equipment's reliability, performance, and life cycle. This role leads the site’s Preventive Maintenance (PM) pillar, focusing on optimizing maintenance programs, implementing predictive strategies, and driving equipment uptime and efficiency. The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally to identify and eliminate the root causes of failures, ensuring our assets operate at peak performance.
What are we looking for?
Minimum:
Technical degree or 5 plus years equivalent work experience
Proven analytical capability and change management capability
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and pipeline practices
Strong knowledge of reliability principles (RCM, FMEA, RCA) and predictive maintenance tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Preferred:
- Certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) are a plus
What will be your key responsibilities?
Develop, implement, and sustain reliability programs to improve equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for recurring equipment failures
Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, develop KPIs, and recommend improvements
Manage asset health assessments and support the site’s capital and maintenance planning processes
Provide technical guidance for lubrication, vibration analysis, thermography, and other reliability tools
Support spare parts optimization and critical equipment risk assessments
Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment safety, reliability, and efficiency
Review top equipment and production losses in conjunction with Operations to identify chronic issues and prioritize improvements.
Lead the Preventive Maintenance (PM) pillar to strengthen proactive maintenance strategies and drive a culture of reliability
