Essential Responsibilities:
- Accurately document all work orders to ensure proper tracking and compliance.
- Plan, schedule, forecast, and optimize maintenance activities to balance operational needs and resource availability.
- Ensure the availability of parts and materials required for scheduled work orders, minimizing delays and downtime.
- Collaborate with customers to align maintenance activities with operational schedules and priorities.
- Review manufacturing manuals, technical drawings, and documents, and work closely with shop floor technicians and engineers to develop detailed job plans for equipment maintenance.
- Create and manage assets, ensuring accurate records and effective asset utilization.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by prioritizing tasks based on customer and maintenance supervisor inputs.
- Continuously improve job plans, preventive maintenance (PM) processes, and overall maintenance planning and scheduling strategies.
- Provide coaching and training to the maintenance team on system functionality and execution to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, ensuring accessibility and support for all employees.
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting collaboration and teamwork across all levels of the organization.
- Communicate organizational achievements, team successes, and challenges to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, engineering or operations)
- 3 years of maintenance, manufacturing, operations, engineering or operations

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience working in a unionized work environment
- Experience working with Maximo or other CMMS
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
