What You’ll Do At Elekta
As a Release Project Manager, you will play a key role within the Product Management organization, coordinating and communicating release-related deliveries across a complex, cross-functional environment.
You will work closely with Product Management, R&D, and other key stakeholders to ensure that release activities are clearly defined, aligned, and executed effectively. By maintaining visibility across dependencies and delivery progress, you will support informed decision-making and help ensure successful portfolio-level outcomes.
Responsibilities
Maintain and communicate a release roadmap, including scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate delivery expectations across cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and alignment on commitments.
Track and manage dependencies across multiple workstreams, escalating risks or issues when needed.
Facilitate alignment between Product Management, R&D leadership, and other stakeholders on priorities and delivery plans.
Provide clear and consistent communication on release status, risks, mitigation options, and key decisions.
Prepare structured updates and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between engineering execution, commercial readiness, customer commitments, and overall product strategy.
Support the development and maintenance of release project plans, including milestones and timelines.
Contribute to planning and follow-up activities to ensure progress toward agreed delivery objectives.
What You’ll Bring
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
You have experience in project management or cross-functional coordination within complex R&D environments.
You have experience working in a regulated industry (medical devices is preferred).
You have strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across multiple teams.
You communicate clearly and can present complex information in a structured and accessible way.
You have the ability to drive alignment and support decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
You have an understanding of product development lifecycles, including design control and release processes.
You are structured, pragmatic, and able to balance multiple priorities.
