We are looking for a senior Release Manager to oversee and coordinate application releases across environments, ensuring smooth, controlled, and timely deployments.

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage release schedules.
  • Track and manage all release-related tickets and change records.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place prior to production deployment.
  • Communicate release status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-release reviews and capture lessons learned.
  • Maintain release calendars and ensure alignment across multiple teams.

Requirements
  • Experience tracking and managing release tickets from initiation through production deployment.
  • Ability to monitor release progress, identify risks, and escalate blockers proactively.
  • Ensure all release activities follow defined governance and approval processes.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira to track release tickets, user stories, defects, and change requests.
  • Ability to create dashboards, filters, and reports for release visibility.
  • Maintain accurate status updates and ensure traceability across environments.
  • Coordinate deployment pipelines and validate successful releases across UAT, and PROD environments.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures and work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams.
  • Knowledge of software development concepts and lifecycle.
  • Ability to understand application architecture and support troubleshooting during releases.
