Summary:
Seeking a Senior Release Manager with 7–10 years of experience in Release Management and DevOps. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Jenkins, Groovy scripting, CI/CD pipeline creation, and deployment automation, along with strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
Role: Senior Release Manager – Release Management & DevOps
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Mode of Work: Hybrid
(3 days from office is mandatory)
Industry: Media / Entertainment / Streaming preferred
Experience: 7–10 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end software release planning, coordination, and production deployments.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, Product, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Manage release schedules, dependencies, risks, blockers, and Go/No-Go activities.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using Groovy.
  • Support application deployments and release activities across AWS environments.
  • Drive deployment automation and continuous improvement of release processes.
  • Coordinate hotfixes, rollback activities, and post-release validation.
  • Provide release status and risk updates to technical and business stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 7–10 years of Release Management / DevOps experience.
  • Strong Release Management and CI/CD experience.
  • Hands-on Jenkins experience.
  • Strong Groovy scripting skills.
  • Experience creating and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS and cloud deployments.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
Good to Have Skills:
  • Media / Entertainment / Streaming industry experience.
  • Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
  • Azure / GCP experience.
