As a Release Engineer, you’ll own and evolve ICEYE’s release systems to ensure software is delivered in a predictable, scalable, and low-risk way, enabling fast and reliable deployment of mission-critical capabilities.

Your day-to-day responsibilitiesDesign and evolve the technical release model, including versioning, configuration management, deployment logic, and validation stages
Build and maintain production-grade release tooling, deployment automation, and configuration systems
Operate and support the global release pipeline, ensuring reliable end-to-end software releases
Monitor release performance, deployment outcomes, and system health signals related to releases
Analyze failures and provide structured feedback to engineering teams to improve release quality
Continuously improve release processes, tooling, and systems based on observed issues and scaling needs
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent adoption of release standards and practices
Drive improvements that reduce operational risk and increase release confidence across the organization
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production environments
Strong experience with release automation, deployment systems, and configuration management
Ability to diagnose complex release and deployment failures and implement durable solutions
Experience influencing engineering practices through system design and standards
Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle and release processes
Ability to work across teams and communicate effectively in English
Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
Experience working in distributed or large-scale systems environments
Familiarity with cloud and on-prem deployment environments
Experience improving developer workflows and release reliability at scale
