- Manage and coordinate software release activities for the o9 platform, including minor and small enhancements.
- Handle incident management related to releases, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with development, QA, product management, and operations teams to plan, schedule, and execute releases.
- Prepare and maintain the release calendar in coordination with all relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Knowledge of o9 practices and CI/CD pipelines and able to guide team during migration.
- Automate release processes and deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
- Monitor release progress, identify potential risks, and proactively communicate issues to stakeholders.
- Document release procedures, configurations, and post-release reviews.
- Support root cause analysis for release-related incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Continuously improve release management practices and tools to enhance quality and reliability.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve the release process.
- Implement best practices for release management.
Qualifications:-
Certified O9 CM Pacakge Management in CONFIG 2.O
Knowledge of the o9 platform or similar enterprise planning software.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Release Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management best practices.
- Experience with release orchestration tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with incident management processes and tools.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on Global Supply chain planning system and to contribute to the success of the o9 COE team by ensuring reliable and efficient release management, supporting continuous delivery, and enhancing overall platform stability.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
