Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining release automation scripts.
- Work with Release Manager to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline execution.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and Product teams to plan and coordinate software releases.
- Automate repetitive manual release tasks to improve efficiency.
- Manage release documentation and deployment checklists.
- Monitor builds, deployments, and troubleshoot release failures.
- Track and manage release activities using JIRA, Confluence etc.
- Support post-release validations and issue resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in Release Engineering / Build & Release / DevOps.
- Strong scripting knowledge in Groovy and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for release tracking and reporting.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Bitbucket).
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes for deployment automation.
- Experience with artifact management tools (Nexus, Artifactory).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
