We are building a high-performing team of Relationship Managers to drive customer acquisition, deposits, and credit adoption.

Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Relationship Manager to spearhead customer engagement and sales for our credit and savings products. This role is a hybrid of relationship management and direct sales, requiring you to identify, onboard, and grow our customer base by:

  • Closing deals on credit for individuals.

  • Acquiring deposits for our high-yield savings product.

  • Cultivating long-term relationships to drive customer retention.

This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is motivated by direct customer interactions and business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Acquisition
  • Sell our credit products: Proactively identify and engage potential customers, guiding them through the loan application and approval process.

  • Drive deposits into savings: Educate and onboard customers onto our savings products, ensuring they actively fund their accounts.

  • Execute offline sales strategies: Leverage physical touchpoints such as community events, business networking, and referrals to acquire high-value customers.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets: Consistently achieve deposit and credit disbursement goals set by the company.

Relationship & Account Management
  • Develop and nurture key relationships: Build strong relationships with individuals, entrepreneurs, and professionals who can benefit from our credit and savings products.

  • Customer retention & engagement: Follow up with customers post-loan disbursement or deposit activation to ensure satisfaction and encourage further engagement.

  • Provide tailored financial solutions: Understand each customer's financial needs and recommend suitable banking solutions.

Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Gather customer insights: Report on market trends, customer pain points, and competitive activities to improve product-market fit.

  • Maintain accurate sales records: Track customer interactions, applications, and deposits in the CRM system.

  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with product, risk, and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Who You Are
  • A natural salesperson with strong persuasion skills and the ability to close deals quickly.

  • Someone who thrives in face-to-face sales environments and enjoys engaging with potential customers in-person.

  • A highly motivated professional with a proven track record in sales, preferably within financial services, fintech, or banking.

  • An excellent communicator who can simplify complex financial products for customers.

  • Resilient and results-driven, comfortable with meeting aggressive sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, or business development, preferably in banking, fintech, lending, or wealth management.

  • Proven ability to close deals, particularly in loan origination and deposit mobilization.

  • Strong networking skills with the ability to acquire customers through referrals and offline engagements.

  • Familiarity with the Nigerian financial services landscape and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work independently while hitting targets.
