About the role

Enterprise Growth is a newly established Business Division at Latitude Financial focused on accelerating the expansion of Latitude’s financial solutions into new market adjacencies and consumer spending verticals, such as Health & Wellness and Home Services which collectively represent ~$30bn of annual consumer spend per year in Australia and New Zealand.

Operating with a start-up mindset inside an established financial services company, the Enterprise Growth Division is designed to move fast, innovate, expand the existing partners network, and capture new growth opportunities which may include the designing of new financial products or new ways to increase partners’ share of wallet.

The Relationship Manager will play a critical role in shaping the growth path of the new division by deepening client relationships, supporting partners to reach optimal distribution settings of Latitude’s financial products, and building scalable commercial foundations within the Enterprise Growth Business Unit.

This role requires a commercially astute professional with a start-up mentality — someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, is goal-orientated, is not afraid of building/re-engineering processes from the ground up, and proactively identifies new growth opportunities while managing commercial risks.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of high-growth clients, delivering exceptional service, being a brand-ambassador for Latitude & Enterprise Growth, while identifying cross-sell, upsell, and strategic expansion opportunities.

Lastly, get comfortable on the road, as the role will require regular business travel within Victoria and interstate (and at the start potentially even New Zealand) to visit partners HQs and their respective stores/clinics.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
  • Deliver a structured training framework to promote retail & sales finance and positively impact growth whilst ensuring the business is compliant in its practices.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Development

  • Manage and monitor data & analytics of assigned accounts to drive performance.
  • Identify, pursue, and close revenue growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Collaborate with product, risk, compliance, and operations teams to deliver tailored distribution solutions.
  • Contribute to pipeline forecasting and revenue reporting.

Start-Up Mindset & Business Building

  • Contribute to the design and refinement of scalable account management processes.
  • Help build playbooks, templates, and client engagement frameworks from scratch.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies in existing practices and implement practical solutions.
  • Demonstrate agility in responding to evolving market and regulatory conditions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Business Development, Product, Credit/Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Act as an internal advocate for partner-merchants to influence product enhancements and service improvements.
  • Support new client onboarding and implementation activities.

Market & Industry Insight

  • Maintain strong knowledge of financial services trends (especially in the target categories of Health & Wellness and Home Services), regulatory developments, and competitive landscape.
  • Proactively identify emerging opportunities within target enterprise segments.

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience in Account Management, Relationship Management, or Business Development within Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-level relationships within a client portfolio.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven revenue growth / wallet penetration capability.
  • Experience working in high-growth, transformation, or start-up environments preferred.
  • Understanding of financial products relevant for the role (e.g., unsecured lending, payments, credit cards, instalment lending, and related or ancillary services).
  • Revenue driven mindset with strong negotiation and influencing skills,
  • A self-starter attitude with autonomous, high-ownership mentality.
  • Strong appetite to learn and continuously improve.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present/engage with an audience of all levels.
  • Familiarity with AI tools – comfortable using tools to accelerate insights, automate routine work, prepare reporting, and tailor content quickly and effectively.
