You will have experience in an account management/relationship management role providing a service, but there is not need to have experience selling fleet services or novated leasing. Experienced staff are more than happy to bring you up to speed with all that you shall need to know.

The purpose of this role is to ensure client retention and growth of the Interleasing portfolio by establishing strong relationships business to business to form long term strategic alliances. 

In your Relationship Manager role, you will provide exceptional service whilst adhering to contractual agreements, reactivate dormant client relationships and facilitate client and customer education on product, services and systems. You will achieve outstanding client retention, portfolio profitability, cross selling of the range of company products and up-selling of services. You will also be an important source of market information for our clients and customers / a trusted business partner.

Along with the above, your role will also be an integral part of launching fleet-management services to new clients. Your performance will be measured by strategic involvement with key clients, revenue generation and up-selling of additional services and maintaining profitability.

The Role

  • Maintain and develop strong strategic customer relationships and understanding of client needs.
  • Conduct a regular structured customer visitation program, ensuring productive relationships are fostered and maintained with key decision makers.
  • Conduct regular fleet reviews as required and seek opportunities to reduce costs through increased fleet optimisation.
  • Adopt a continuous improvement perspective when engaging with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that the customer experience is forefront of mind.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to up-sell additional Interleasing Connect services to clients to increase portfolio profitability and revenue generation for the organisation.
  • Cross sell of Maxxia Novated Leasing and Salary Packaging services to existing Interleasing customers.
  • Increase share of customers fleet to position Interleasing as the clients preferred provider.
  • Manage lease expiry, ensuring that no leases run past expiry.
  • Document and retain information on clients within CRM (database), that allows this information to be accessed and used for cross-sell, upsell and customer service benefits.
  • Take ownership of issue resolution ensuring contractual obligations and KPI’s are measured, met and exceeded.

You will bring

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Proficient experience using a database and recording customer interactions.
  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in an account management/relationship management role providing a service.
  • Understanding of strategic sales and portfolio management.
  • Must hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
  • An understanding of the vehicle or heave machinery fleet leasing and/or salary packaging is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Miles (software) is advantageous but not essential.
