The Advisor Experience team supports John Hancock’s Longer. Healthier. Better. Network (LHBN) by managing and growing relationships with enrolled advisors. The Relationship Manager, LHB Network reports to the Director, Advisor Experience and is distinct from field leadership roles (MDDs, RVPs/RDs, NAVPs) in that it owns the direct, ongoing relationship with an assigned book of LHBN advisors rather than territory recruitment or sales leadership. This is a multi-incumbent role, with Relationship Managers assigned to defined advisor portfolios across the network.
The primary purpose of this role is to drive ongoing engagement, servicing, and production growth for LHBN members with particular focus on Founding Members and other active network advisors, through consistent, high-touch relationship management. The Relationship Manager acts as an extension of the advisor’s business, helping them maximize the value of LHBN membership while coordinating with MDDs, RVPs/RDs, NAVPs, New Business, Underwriting, and inforce teams. This role directly supports the LHBN mission of complementing not replacing advisors’ existing BGA, broker-dealer, and firm relationships, delivering a differentiated, concierge-level experience that helps advisors grow their practice and deepen client impact.
Position Responsibilities:
- Advisor relationship management and engagement cadence (serving as dedicated owner for an assigned book of LHBN advisors) — 40%
- Production and growth support, including cross-sell identification and qualification-risk monitoring — 25%
- Data, reporting, and accountability (Salesforce documentation and metrics reporting) — 15%
- Serve as the dedicated relationship owner for an assigned book of LHBN advisors, driving engagement, loyalty, and trust through a consistent cadence of touchpoints.

- Provide case consultation, product positioning, and strategic practice-planning support tailored to each advisor’s business.
- Identify and act on cross-sell and production growth opportunities, proactively flagging advisors at risk of falling below LHBN qualification thresholds.
- Support advisors through certification, activation, and Vitality PRO registration to help them realize full membership value.
- Partner cross-functionally with MDDs, RVPs/RDs, NAVPs, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, New Business, and Underwriting to deliver a unified, compliant advisor experience.
- Maintain accurate engagement documentation and reporting in Salesforce, using data to inform execution and advisor support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience in relationship management, wholesaling, sales support, or advisor-facing roles within life insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of life insurance sales processes, illustrations, case design, and producer/advisor workflows.

- FINRA Series 6 & 63 or Series 7, and appropriate state life and health licenses (or ability to obtain within required timeframes).
- Travel required 1-2 times per month.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting an exclusive or invitation-only advisor/producer network, loyalty program, or incentive-based membership model.
