To grow, maintain and retain a portfolio of private banking customers in line with the segment value propositions, related initiatives and activities aimed at creating value for the client and the bank.
QualificationsMinimum Qualification:
- First Degree in Business Commerce
Experience Required :
- 5 - 7 years experience in Personal and Private Banking
- Experience in sales, service, relationship management, credit applications and financial acumen.
Key Outputs :
- Proactively promote a relationship-based offering through a primary point of contact, which meets the client expectations by providing personalized financial solutions in line with the client value proposition.
- Adhere to sound account management principles for optimal credit portfolio management execution (i.e., reduced excesses, unauthorised overdrawn accounts and overdue reviews)
- Adherence to required compliance, legislative, regulatory, etc. requirements e.g., KYC.
- Prepare and submit quality credit applications for evaluation and/or approval by Credit, where required or oversees the preparation of credit applications. Conducts credit reviews as and when required.
- Ensure the necessary indemnities are in place to receive instructions from the specific client via email or telephone. Apply discretion to act on client instructions within defined mandate and escalate where applicable (e.g., client requests an EFT transfer to be made, jobholder may act on the request if within allocated mandate.
