independent, and non-producing Third-Party Administration firm located in
Akron, Ohio who currently has sales territories throughout the Mid-West. Trinity collaborates with retirement plan
sponsors and their associated financial professionals in delivering a highly
effective administration and compliance solution for their employer sponsored
retirement plan.
What Our Relationship
Managers are responsible for:
Operations Responsibilities
· Proactively and systematically follow up on all items necessary to complete annual administration and compliance testing.
· Proactively participate and assist with onboarding Trinity new clients.
· Log all email, phone and meeting activities.
· Proactively track and monitor all conversion events, administration and
compliance events, and client communications effectively managing your
dashboard.
· Identify and enforce all special billing opportunities.
· Document in Pension Pro all Sponsor and Advisor interactions (meeting minute notes and compliance activity)
Relationship Management Responsibilities
· Collaborate with other departments in delivering Trinity’s reports and anticipating the client’s questions.
· Make regular outgoing, proactive phone calls to customers.
· Explain, in a clear manner, to Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors the
various aspects of Defined Benefit administration, including, but not limited
to:
o Actuarial Valuations
o Annual Return Forms 5500
o Financial Accounting Reports
o Discrimination Testing
o Schedule SB
o Participant Distributions
o AFTAP Certifications
o PBGC Filings & Notices
o
· Proactively collaborate with RVP’s about internal sales opportunities.
· Resolve conflicts and disputes with Trinity services with Sponsors and Advisors.
· Attend and participate in departmental and corporate meetings.
· Assist other Team Members in resolving questions, disputes and conflicts.
· Schedule, draft, and review communication and correspondence to clients.
Consulting Responsibilities
· Anticipate client questions, problems and work toward solutions that are technically clear and accurate.
· Be able to read, understand and interpret client reports.
· Assist the Document Specialist in the preparation and completion of plan documents.
· Communicate complex pension concepts in a simple manner.
· Scrub book of business for internal sales opportunities and collaborate with RVP.
· Manage Client expectations relative to Trinity Service Standards.
· Resolve conflicts and disputes with respect to Client expectations and outcomes.
· Participate in Sales Meetings as needed.
· Stay abreast of industry trends, market and competitors.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Residence in geographic area of assigned location.
- 3-5 years experience in the Retirement Plan Industry required.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage office functions efficiently, organize work, establish priorities and maintain good interpersonal relations.
- Demonstrated attention to detail; multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
- Demonstrated high-level client service skills.
- ASPPA QKA designation required or willing to attain; maintain ASPPA membership.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Highly motivated self-starter with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Overall comprehensive understanding of business processes.
- Minimum of 40 work hours per week.
