Job Description

IPAR is on the lookout for passionate Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Osteopaths and Occupational Therapists ready to take the next step in their careers and make a genuine impact in the Occupational Rehabilitation space in Launceston.

In this role, no two days are the same. You’ll manage a well-supported caseload, with Rehabilitation Assistants helping to reduce administrative load so you can focus on what you do best. You’ll apply your clinical knowledge in a new and rewarding way in collaborating with injured workers, employers and healthcare professionals to develop tailored strategies that support individuals in rebuilding condidence, improve health and return to meaningful work. 

Some of your day to day includes:

  • Conducting comprehensive, evidence-based assessments to understand injury, capacity, barriers and return-to-work potential
  • Developing and delivering tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work plans aligned to individual goals
  • Providing ongoing case management and health coaching, supporting clients throughout their recovery journey
  • Collaborating with clients, employers, treaters and insurers to drive positive and sustainable outcomes
  • Completing high-quality reports and recommendations that guide treatment, rehabilitation and employment pathways
  • Working across various schemes including Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance, Comcare and DVA

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Exercise Physiology or Occupational Therapy
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full Professional Accreditation with ESSA or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication and time management skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!;
  • You are someone with compassion, kindness and empathy! 
  • A current Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
