Join our Europe Finance team and play a key part in the regulatory and statutory reporting of Hiscox S.A. (HSA). You'll support Luxembourg and wider European reporting, helping ensure financial information is accurate, timely and compliant.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to consolidate their finance career and grow into regulatory reporting within a multinational insurance environment — full training and support provided. We're looking for someone eager to learn, not the finished article.
What you'll do- Support Luxembourg and European regulatory & statutory reporting, filings and submissions.
- Help prepare and analyse financial information, reconciliations and reporting templates.
- Contribute to strong financial controls, governance and process improvements.
- Work closely with Finance teams (Reporting, Controlling, Accounting, FP&A), auditors and regulators.
- Support month-end activities, audit requests and ad-hoc projects.
A motivated finance professional (c. 2–4 years' experience) with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn. You work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, international environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.
- Solid grasp of accounting principles (balance sheet & P&L, IFRS basis).
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI an advantage.
- Fluent English (C1+).
Nice to have (but not essential — we'll train you):
- Exposure to insurance accounting, Lux GAAP and/or Solvency II.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and multinational environments.

Skills Required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including balance sheet and profit and loss reporting under IFRS
- Ability to work effectively across geographical boundaries and international teams
- Experience producing reports for external stakeholders
- Fluent English at minimum C1 level
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Business Management qualification
- Exposure to insurance accounting and Luxembourg GAAP
- Previous experience in a multinational environment
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP platforms
