Job Summary:
Support the Regulatory organization in activities that help ensure compliance with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requirements. You’ll gain hands-on experience with regulatory processes, licensing documentation, inspections, and compliance activities while working alongside experienced regulatory professionals.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll assist with researching regulatory and licensing documents, preparing documentation, maintaining regulatory records, and supporting NRC and DOE inspection activities. You’ll also help track regulatory commitments and use document control and corrective action systems to gather and manage information. This role provides an opportunity to learn how regulatory requirements are applied in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field
- Preference given to candidates in their Junior or Senior year
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
- U.S. citizenship
Pay:
Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $23-$25/hr. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test and vetting to ensure Centrus Energy can meet the requirements of 10 CFR Parts 810 and 1017 to grant access to export-controlled information and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information, respectively. Such access is required for the performance of this position.
