Please note, this position is contingent upon award and is for an initial 4-month project, with a likely extension. We anticipate award in June 2026
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute manual regression testing for CGI Advantage (or similar ERP financial systems) following system updates and releases
- Develop, review, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on functional requirements and release documentation
- Validate system functionality across key financial modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, Procurement)
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect tracking tools
- Perform functional analysis to verify business processes and ensure alignment with financial management requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and system integrators to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on system performance, issues, and risks
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and system standards
- Assist in maintaining and improving test documentation, procedures, and reusable test assets
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience in software testing, system validation, or business/functional analysis
- Demonstrated experience performing manual testing and regression testing in enterprise systems
- Experience working with CGI Advantage, Momentum, or similar ERP financial systems
- Understanding of financial management processes (e.g., accounting, budgeting, invoicing, or procurement workflows)
- Experience writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and defect reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks within defined timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) for test documentation and reporting
- The ability to obtain a public trust
