We're looking for a Registration Coordinator who is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring appointments, insurance information, and clinic operations run smoothly.
What You'll Do
As a Registration Coordinator, you'll help create a seamless patient experience by:
Welcoming patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion
Scheduling appointments and managing incoming phone calls
Registering patients and maintaining accurate demographic and insurance information
Verifying insurance eligibility and obtaining required authorizations
Collecting copays, patient payments, and accurately posting transactions
Serving as a liaison between patients, providers, and clinical support teams
Coordinating communication with medical assistants, financial counselors, and billing teams
Managing patient communications via phone, fax, and email in a timely and organized manner
Supporting daily clinic operations through administrative tasks and office coordination
Maintaining accurate records while following established scheduling and registration procedures
What You'll Bring
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of customer service, administrative, or healthcare experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
One (1) year of experience in a medical office, patient registration, scheduling, or patient access role.
Experience verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining authorizations, or working with healthcare billing processes.
Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Knowledge of insurance benefits, patient financial responsibility, and registration best practices.
Compensation Range for this position:
$19.46 - $29.19Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
