The Regional Vice President of Sales is accountable for profitable growth, market expansion, strategic account development, and sales leadership within an assigned region. This role directs regional business development, customer engagement, sales execution, forecasting, and representative performance to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives while strengthening the organization’s competitive position.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

Growth & Business Development
  • Develop and execute regional strategies that achieve or exceed revenue, profitability, market share, and new business objectives.
  • Maintain a qualified pipeline of strategic prospects, account expansion opportunities, and competitive conversions.
  • Lead the pursuit, negotiation, and closure of significant regional opportunities.
  • Identify market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue channels that support sustainable growth.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence to inform business decisions.
Strategic Account Leadership
  • Build executive-level relationships with key customers, prospects, and strategic partners.
  • Drive account retention, expansion, and profitability through disciplined business planning and engagement.
  • Serve as the senior commercial leader for major opportunities, escalations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure effective execution and strong customer outcomes.
Sales Leadership & Talent Development
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales representatives and business partners.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for regional growth objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance, pipeline, forecast, and territory reviews to improve execution.
  • Ensure consistent use of approved sales processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and results.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline records, territory plans, and revenue reporting.
  • Use CRM data and performance metrics to support planning, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Manage regional resources and investments to maximize productivity and return on investment.
  • Implement process improvements that strengthen efficiency, execution, and speed to market.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and approved business practices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Management, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Minimum of seven years of progressive sales leadership, business development, or strategic account management experience.
  • Demonstrated record of profitable growth, market expansion, new business acquisition, and strategic account development.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams, independent representatives, or multi-channel sales networks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, forecasting, and business analytics.

Pay Range

$125,000 - $150,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
