Regional Vice President, Operations

Lead the Region. Own the Results.

Fox Rent A Car is looking for a Regional Vice President of Operations who leads with energy, owns the numbers, and builds General Managers into leaders. This executive thrives on responsibility for a full region of airport locations and brings the vision to turn strategy into daily results at every counter. Customers, teams, and revenue all rise under this leader.

Your Primary Focus Is To:

• Owns full operational and financial accountability for all locations within the assigned region, driving revenue growth and profitability against company targets.
• Provides strategic leadership to the region, ensuring operational efficiency and achievement of financial and sales targets at every location.
• Trains, mentors, and manages General Managers across all assigned locations.
• Sets regional operational strategy in alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
• Reviews and establishes location-level goals in Service, Sales, and Utilization, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
• Partners with the Managing Director, USA to confirm regional goals and objectives prior to enactment.
• Maximizes revenue while minimizing and controlling costs across the region.
• Investigates claims of deceptive sales practices and reports findings to the Managing Director, USA for review.
• Ensures the appearance and operational standards of all assigned locations meet company presentation and service expectations.
• Monitors customer service performance via NPS to ensure company standards are consistently maintained across the region.
• Facilitates and enforces all company policies and procedures across the region.
• Monitors regional sales performance and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Reviews pricing and fleet availability with the Pricing Department and location General Managers to optimize regional performance.
• Leads all phases of Human Resources management for the region, including recruiting, discipline, training, performance reviews, and scheduling of location leadership.
• Formulates and monitors action plans to drive continuous improvement in service and operational performance.
• Addresses and resolves elevated customer issues within the region.
• Ensures a safe working environment across all locations within the region.
• Represents the company in dealings with regional vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develops succession plans and leadership pipelines for General Manager and other key location roles within the region.
• Travels extensively throughout the region to support locations, coach leadership, and drive performance.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive operations management experience, including multi-unit or multi-location leadership.
• Car rental or related service industry experience strongly preferred.

Skills & Strengths:

• In-depth knowledge of the rental car business and multi-unit operations.
• Executive-level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold multiple teams accountable to results across a broad geographic region.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including profit and loss management.
• Excellent strategic planning and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively to locations throughout the assigned region.
