Mission
Our ideal candidate should be an independent, tech savvy, driven individual with great people skills, and a passion for writing. This position will support the rollout of Azelis Asia Pacific customer portal by working closely with the Digital/Marketing teams and other stakeholders to populate our digital platform.
Regional Treasurer - Accountabilities
Reporting to the Group Treasurer, this role takes responsibility for the:
- Responsibility over of day-to-day cash management, cash flow forecasting and all electronic banking systems of the Region with special focus on banking delegation (signature powers)
- Ensure that enough funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
- Advise Group Treasurer and Regional Management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and mid/long-range planning
- On field execution of any equity and debt financing within the delegation received by Group Treasurer
- Execution of the Regional borrowing process and regional bank relationship
- Direct report to Group Treasurer for any Credit Rating or Credit Insurers requirement
- Assessment and execution of the business-related risks including FX, interest rate and counterparty risk management within the delegation received by Group Treasurer
- Assessment of an effective and efficient hedging program in accordance with Group policy
- Integration and development of the Group Treasury policies in the region
- Maintenance of a system of policies and procedures imposing an adequate level of control over Treasury activities
- Implementation of robust controls within Treasury processes
- Establishment and ongoing development of relationships with other regional departments
- Ownership of some Group’s projects/processes within the delegation by Group Treasurer
- Availability to back-up other Regional Treasury colleagues in case required
Skills Required
- Day-to-day cash management and cash flow forecasting
- Experience with electronic banking systems and banking delegation/signature powers
- Ability to ensure liquidity for operational and capital requirements and advise on liquidity planning
- Execution experience with equity and debt financing and regional borrowing processes
- Management of regional bank relationships and interactions with credit rating agencies or credit insurers
- Assessment and management of FX, interest rate and counterparty risk and implementation of hedging programs
- Integration and development of Group Treasury policies at regional level
- Establishment and maintenance of treasury policies, procedures and robust internal controls
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build relationships with regional departments
- Capacity to own regional treasury projects and provide backup support to colleagues
- Independent, tech-savvy, driven with strong people skills and effective business writing ability
