Overview & Responsibilities
Purpose of the Job
-
Provides regional support in establishing, standardizing, and maintaining global process and tools for successful management of departmental goals and objectives, working with other Supply Chain managers to ensure effective skill and knowledge transfer across the department.

Actively participates continuous improvement within the department, engaging parties as necessary and effectively managing change, while working toward becoming a world class organization.

Provides inputs for consistent department global reporting and Analytics. Coordinates regional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and other departmental compliance related activities
Background and Experience
-
3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, business analytics and/or continuous improvement. Business process change experience a plus. Root Cause/Corrective Action experience a plus. Broad continuous improvement toolbox a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or a similar concentration.

Willingness to learn and a proven history to quickly absorb and apply new information

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS). May be asked to participate internal and external QMS audits.

Knowledge of business systems such as Oracle EBS or SAP S/4HANA
-
VBA proficiency preferred

Skilled in data interpretation or in data analytics. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, with a strong aptitude in excel.

Self-Motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes

Organized with a strong sense of urgency

Ability to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of customers, clients, vendors, visitors and employees

Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment

Nature of the Job
-
This role supports Global Supply Chain function and reports to the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence/ Process Manager (GSC COE Manager). The role of this position is to assist with regional improvement of Supply Chain performance, striving for global standardization, identifying departmental risks, and preventing process related problems. This position will regionally support in deploying policy/procedure and in performance enhancing efforts on cost savings/value analysis, delivery, quality, and CSR/Compliance activity. Furthermore, the position will oversee consistent monitoring and measuring and provide support of departmental analytics.
Specific Job Responsibilities/Competencies

Communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of business associates

Provide input to GSC COE/Process Manager for short- and long-term departmental business strategies in support of the strategic plan

Develop a thorough understanding of regional Supply Chain processes/procedures and the tools used within the process. Gain awareness of adjacent processes.

Provide regional support for systematic development and implementation of comprehensive departmental processes and tools with consideration to business risks, modifying documentation accordingly, and providing necessary trainings upon process changes

Provide assistance in developing and implementing short-term and long-term preventative and corrective action plans to improve product and process quality and productivity

Regionally Oversee the Quality Management System related activity

Stay abreast of Supply Chain best practices while striving to become a world class organization

Responsible for consistent regional collection and reporting of Supply Chain Key Process Indicators (KPI) and other key process monitors

Responsible for supporting regional Supply Chain CSR/Compliance policies, procedures, and reporting.

Regionally oversees ERP system (data) integrity as it relates to Supply Chain, such as Supplier and Buyer record administration. Develop subject matter expertise where needed.

Key member of regional Supply Chain / Information Technology steering committee, providing insight and priority on activities and projects. Participate in testing of system changes.

Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics

Actively support cross-functional business process and business tool changes or integrations

Regionally champion process orientation and compliance across the department

Work closely with departmental staff globally to understand Supply Chain departmental risks and opportunities, developing plans to minimize risk or to realize opportunities
