Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
The position is responsible for the development and leadership of the team’s billing associates and billing analysts. The Regional Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring market demands are successfully accomplished, identifying escalations and resolving with management, providing training to new and developing employees, practicing high ethical standards, add commercial value to the billing team, reviewing, creating, and establishing processes to increase accuracy and efficiency. The Regional Supervisor reports directly to the Customer Billing Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Building - Manage, educate, train, empower, and lead employees in the day to day operations of the team. Create a positive work environment. Set high standards of performance for self and team. Anticipate problems and act proactively. Develop action plans to achieve goals and objectives. Encourage creative thinking. Lead productive regular meetings. Set-up quarterly one-on-ones with employees. (30%)
- Customer Service & Customer Integration - Continually review, develop, and implement best practices to improve customer satisfaction. This includes responsibility for the Account Analyst inbox, regional email requests, monitoring the call center, ensuring call coverage, logging and tracking calls, and management reporting. Oversee all aspects of customer integration; guaranteeing initial customer communication is provided in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with ISO:9001 requirements. (15%)
- Financial Reporting – Actively review revenue billed, monthly billing department stats, and financial reporting for the current team. Coordinate with other groups including Accounting, Settlements, Deal Capture, Risk, Desks, and IT to ensure accurate financial reporting. (15%)
- Customer Billing – Manage accuracy and timely invoicing for gas and electric retail counterparties within assigned markets. Solve complex discrepancies and disputes. Coordinate with other teams to validate and analyze usage data and confirm that the data flows through accurately throughout the billing process. Drive projects to completion. Address areas of control and motivate other departments to perform. Work with front office to promote repeat business. (40%)

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience desired.
- Preferred 4 years of overall experience; at least a year of energy experience in a deregulated marketplace role. Possess system and process management experience.
- Ability to convey in verbal and original written material, complex technical matters in a clear, concise and audience-friendly manner. Possesses strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Displays well developed leadership and consensus building skills.

Salary Range
$94,356.35 – $121,022.50
