Reporting to Corporate Procurement Department, the Regional Sourcing Manager - Europe is responsible for the Procurement activity and performance in European affiliates (Poland, BENELUX, Greece…).
She/he operates in coordination with Group Purchasing Department, will identify synergies within the group and implement Global/ Regional Procurement strategies defined by the Group in Europe.
He/ she will play a major role in the international SHARP Project, ERP program supporting the implementation in the European affiliates according Group processes & policies.
The Regional Sourcing Manager Europe will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships across the European region for PIERRE FABRE BENELUX SA, focusing on optimizing costs, ensuring supply chain efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in alignment with global procurement strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies for various categories across Europe, aligning with global procurement objectives and local market needs.
- Lead the entire sourcing process from market analysis, RFQ/RFP development, supplier selection, contract negotiation, to contract management for key spend categories.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, manage supplier performance through regular reviews, and foster strong, collaborative relationships with key regional vendors.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, value engineering projects, and continuous improvement activities within the supply chain, ensuring compliance with quality, ethical, and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to understand their needs and ensure successful project execution and material/service availability.
- Monitor market trends, supply risks, and technological advancements within the European region to proactively adapt sourcing strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations in all sourcing activities.
- Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Purchasing or a related field;
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a regional or multi-country role within Europe.
- Indirect procurement experience, Marketing categories experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation, cost savings achievement, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong understanding of European supply markets, regulations, and business practices, particularly within the pharmaceutical, dermo-cosmetics, or related industries is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or other major European languages is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel frequently across the European region as required.
- Command of office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,…).
