Job Description:

Position Summary

The Wilsonart Solid Surface Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving growth of the Wilsonart Solid Surface business across North America. This role provides strategic leadership through influence by partnering with independent distributors, company-owned sales and specification teams, major fabrication partners, and OEM customers to expand market share and increase the visibility of Wilsonart Solid Surface products.

The Regional Sales Representative works cross-functionally to develop sales strategies, educate and mentor sales teams, strengthen key customer relationships, and support projects from specification through fabrication. This position does not have direct reports but serves as a subject matter expert and trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Promote and Sell Wilsonart Solid Surface and Sinks

  • Drive growth of Wilsonart Solid Surface products and related marketing programs.
  • Partner with leadership to develop strategies and programs that expand market share across North America.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support strategic sales initiatives.

Partner with Independent Distribution Sales Teams

  • Collaborate with independent distributor leadership to drive growth of Wilsonart Solid Surface.
  • Train, coach, and mentor sales and specification teams to strengthen their knowledge and ability to promote Wilsonart Solid Surface products.
  • Influence and encourage sales and specification teams to increase focus on Wilsonart Solid Surface opportunities.
  • Support project teams to ensure specifications progress successfully from concept through fabrication.

Partner with Company-Owned Sales Teams

  • Collaborate with company-owned sales leadership to drive growth of Wilsonart Solid Surface.
  • Train, coach, and mentor sales and specification teams on product knowledge, selling strategies, and specification opportunities.
  • Encourage continued focus on Wilsonart Solid Surface within the sales organization.
  • Support project teams to ensure specifications progress successfully from concept through fabrication.

Develop Relationships with Major Fabrication Partners

  • Secure placement of samples and marketing collateral with major solid surface fabricators throughout the region.
  • Engage with the Solid Surface Fabrication Council and other industry partners to gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve sales, products, and operations.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to Sales Leadership, Product Management, Design, Marketing, and Operations to strengthen Wilsonart's competitive position.

Develop OEM Partnerships

  • Identify, develop, and grow relationships with original equipment manufacturers, including manufactured housing, recreational vehicles, marine, office furniture, and other targeted industries.
  • Develop strategies to increase specification and utilization of Wilsonart Solid Surface products within OEM accounts.

Industry Engagement

  • Represent Wilsonart through participation in ISFA and other industry organizations to increase awareness and visibility of Wilsonart Solid Surface.
  • Encourage and support local sales teams in participating in regional industry events and networking opportunities that promote acrylic solid surface products.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities, customer activities, and business outcomes within the company's CRM and reporting systems.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance to identify opportunities for continued growth.
