Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership to the assigned region
- Travel with each Territory Sales Manager (TSM) yearly
- Coach & Mentor TSM’s to drive sustainable, profitable growth for the CHAMPRO brand
- Drive and support CHAMPRO strategic initiatives
- Develop relationships to enhance CHAMPRO Brand Recognition
- Facilitate CHAMPRO sales opportunities into revenue
- Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of TSM
- Reviews and analyzes regional sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential new markets.
- Collaborates with TSM to develop sales goals for each dealer, monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain business.
- Aide in developing marketing programs and promotions to increase sales and/or introduce new products and services.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
- Assist with bi-annual sales meetings, reviews, and events to share information, set and revise goals, and to drive sales
- Collaborates with National Sales Manager to develop territories, sales quotas, forecasts and strategies.
- Monitors and approves expenses.
- Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Experience:
- Required Experience: 3 to 5 years of managing sales teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis.
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to regularly travel throughout region
Education:
- Required Degree Level: Undergraduate
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Extensive experience as a Sales Manager required
